IRVING, Texas - Freshman attackman
Airik Ranjo (San Diego, Calif.) scored two goals but it wasn't enough as the Carroll University men's lacrosse team lost to University of Dallas 12-4 in a nonconference game at Crusader Field on Thursday afternoon.
It was the first contest of a two-game Spring Break road trip for Carroll, which lost its third straight to drop to 2-4 overall.
The Pioneers were outscored 8-1 in the momentum-shifting first half, including four unanswered goals over the course of the opening 13 minutes.
Freshman attackman
Dylan Steichen (Bartlett, Ill.) and freshman midfielder
Michael Peters (Chicago, Ill.) each added a goal for Carroll, which was outshot 34-23.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Abe Escrada (Sammamish, Wash.) registered 11 saves.
Freshman attackman Tucker Jameson scored four goals to lead University of Dallas, which improved to 5-5 overall.
