LAKE FOREST, Ill. - Junior outside hitter
Sydney Wilkins (Portage, Ind.) contributed a team-high 11 kills, 12 digs and three blocks as the Carroll University women's volleyball team outlasted Lake Forest College 25-14, 21-25, 23-25, 25-13, 15-13 in a nail-biting five-set dual meet to begin the second day of the Lake Forest Invitational on Saturday morning.
It was the second victory in the two-day tournament for Carroll, which improved to 2-1 overall.

Senior middle blocker
Karley Wolf (Roselle, Ill.) followed with 10 kills for Carroll, which amassed 61 kills, nine blocks and 53 assists in the contest. Sophomore middle blocker
Melanie Barrios (Bolingbrook, Ill.) had eight kills and six blocks.
Senior defensive specialist
Amanda Hahn (Itasca, Ill.) collected 20 digs, three service aces and six assists for the Pioneers. Junior setter
Emma Przeslicke (Evergreen Park, Ill.) added 10 digs and 27 assists.
Senior outside hitter Grace Larson had a meet-high 15 kills and 12 digs for Lake Forest, which dropped to 1-2 overall.
