Rachel Noonan (Crystal Lake, Ill.) had five kills and three blocks as the Carroll University women's volleyball team defeated University of Dubuque 25-20, 25-23, 25-17 in a nonconference dual meet to open its own triangular at Van Male Athletic Complex on Saturday morning.
It was the seventh consecutive dual victory for Carroll, which improved to 11-4 overall following its third sweep of the season.

Kylie Mueller (Fox Lake, Ill.) also contributed five kills for the Pioneers, who generated 26 kills, eight service aces and five blocks in the showdown. Junior outside hitter
Cassidy Mrotek (Manitowoc, Wis.) followed with four kills, eight digs, two aces and a block. Senior defensive specialist
Trystam Carr (Charlottesville, Va.) collected 16 digs and two aces.

Emma Przeslicke (Evergreen Park, Ill.) had 11 assists, 16 digs and three aces for Carroll, which remained aggressive throughout the battle to offset the tall, versatile Univ. of  Dubuque front line.
