Pios earn first road victory since rejoining league in 2016; win ninth straight

ELMHURST, Ill. - Junior outside hitter Kylie Mueller (Fox Lake, Ill.) contributed a team-high 11 kills and nine digs to help lead a balanced attack as the Carroll University women's volleyball team defeated Elmhurst College 25-19, 26-28, 25-17, 25-19 in a College Conference of Illinois-Wisconsin dual meet at R.A. Faganel Hall on Wednesday night.
It was the ninth consecutive dual victory for Carroll, which improved to 2-0 in the highly contested conference standings and 13-4 overall.
The performance took on added meaning as it was the first CCIW road victory since rejoining the league in 2016 and also marked the first time the Pioneers have won back-to-back conference duals during that time span.
