TUCSON, Ariz. - Carroll University (1-3, 0-0 CCIW) fell to perennial power St. Thomas (2-0, 0-0 MIAC) on Saturday afternoon by the final score of 13-2.
The Pioneers would take an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning, but the Tommies of St. Thomas would overwhelm the Pios in the easy victory.
Carroll wouldn't do themselves any favors as the pitching staff issued nine walks and the defense committed three errors on the afternoon.
The Pios will look to bounce back on Sunday morning as they face another MIAC foe in St. Olaf College at 9am MST.
