Danny McGee (Rockford, Ill.) each scored a goal as the Carroll University men's lacrosse team lost to North Central College 18-3 in a College Conference of Illinois-Wisconsin game at Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium on Tuesday night.
It was the second conference road loss of the season for Carroll, which dropped to 0-2 in the league standings and 0-11 overall.
The Pioneers were outscored 11-1 in the first half, including nine unanswered goals in the opening quarter.
Senior attackman
Paul Kerchberger (Deer Park, Ill.) and sophomore midfielder
Michael Peters (Chicago, Ill.) each had an assist for Carroll, which was outshot 56-18 - including a critical 34-11 shot-on-goal margin.
Junior goalkeeper
Abe Escarda (Sammamish, Wash.) registered 12 saves in playing 40:49 in the contest.
Junior midfielder Tommy Huizinga scored five goals and had three assists for North Central, which improved to 1-1 in conference and 8-2 overall.
