CLAREMONT, Calif. - The Carroll University women's volleyball team lost to No. 5-ranked Claremont-Mudd-Scripps 25-9, 25-17, 25-20 to round out the opening day of the Pacific Coast Classic on Friday afternoon.
Junior middle blocker
Rachel Noonan (Crystal Lake, Ill.) contributed a team-high eight kills for Carroll, which dropped to 0-2 overall on its season-opening West Coast trip.Â
Senior outside hitter
Cassidy Mrotek (Manitowoc, Wis.) followed with five kills and 13 digs for the Pioneers. Senior outside hitter
Sydney Wilkins (Portage, Ind.) had five kills and two blocks for the Pioneers. Freshman setter
Kelly Reynolds (Plainfield, Ill.) added seven digs and 11 assists.
Phoebe Madsen registered a team-high 15 kills and Regan Dinovitz added 10 kills for Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.
