Amanda Jones and Spencer Kirsteatter are the first Pioneers of the week for the 2019-2020 season. Both Pioneers won their respective races at the Tom Barry Invitational hosted by St. Norbert College
 
Jones crossed the finish line first for the women, with a pace of 3:52 min/km. She finished the race at the 19 minute and 20 second mark. She finished six seconds faster than the second-place finisher from St. Norbert. Her performance, along with the help of her teammates, led the Women to a first-place team finish.
 
Kirsteatter crossed his four-mile finish line in 20 minutes and 46 seconds. He too was six seconds faster than the second-place runner, who happened to be his teammate, Kyle Adams. His and his teammate's performance carried Carroll to a second-place team finish on the weekend.
 
Other noteworthy performances this weekend came from Senior forward Shea Connell, who scored two goals against Coe with four shots on goal. For women's tennis, Maya Gedtke finished her two-match weekend going 2-0 in singles play, and 1-1 playing doubles.
