Hilton Head, Sc – The Carroll University women's tennis team got back into the swing of things with another win over spring break, this time against Westminster by a score of 8-1.
 
In doubles, Grace Krueger/Ashley LaBelle and Maya Gaedtke/Carolyn Merkatoris handled their opponents. Rachel Papp and Erika Bosman played in a tight match, but came away with an 8-7(6) victory.
 
In singles, LaBelle retired mid-way through her match, to lose the set. Merkatoris dropped her first set, but came back and won a tie breaker in the next two sets. Lora Leach, Frankie Grimes, and Krueger settled their matches in straight sets.
 
The women will play one more match tomorrow before heading back home from spring break.
