MILWAUKEE, Wis. - The Carroll University women's volleyball team lost to Concordia University Chicago 25-23, 24-26, 26-24, 25-13 in the opening round of the Wisconsin Lutheran Invitational on Friday evening.
It was the fifth four-set loss of the season for Carroll, which dropped to 6-20 overall.
Peyton Frost registered a team-high 11 kills and two blocks for the Pioneers, who generated 14 kills with six errors and a .195 hitting percentage in the confidence-building second-set victory.
Cathleen Flannery contributed nine kills, 11 digs, one service ace and a block for Carroll.
Ashley Konecki followed with nine kills,
Katie Jensen had nine kills and a block,
Mya Zielinski collected five aces and
Rebekah Andreae had three blocks.
Kloe Longtin had 15 digs and
Emily Schliesman added 35 assists.
Joy Greco finished with 20 kills for Concordia University Chicago, which improved to 11-16 overall.
