Pioneers post 2-0 record at Lakeland triangular

Carroll earns dual victories versus Rockford, Lakeland

PLYMOUTH, Wis. - The Carroll University women's volleyball team went 2-0 in the Lakeland University Triangular at Woltzen Gymnasium on Saturday, defeating Rockford University 25-7, 25-16, 25-14 and Lakeland University 16-25, 26-24, 25-19, 25-16 in the finale. 
The Pioneers improved to 6-14 overall with the back-to-back nonconference dual meet victories.

DUAL 1
Peyton Frost registered 16 kills as Carroll recorded its second sweep of the season. 
Ashley Konecki contributed eight kills and six blocks for the Pioneers, who dominated the momentum-building opening set by finishing with 15 kills and aggressive .467 hitting percentage. Cathleen Flannery followed with five kills and eight digs.
Aliani Rivera-Rosado had two service aces and 19 digs with Emily Schliesman adding two aces and 30 assists.

DUAL 2
Flannery finished with 12 kills and 16 digs as the Pioneers overcame an early one-set deficit, showcased their resilience and recorded the second four-set victory of the season.
Konecki contributed 10 kills, Frost had nine kills, Emily Konop had a team-best three aces while Sofia Camacho and Katie Jensen each collecting three blocks.
Schliesman added 10 digs and 26 assists.
