Cathleen Flannery contributed a team-high 15 kills, seven digs and a service ace as the University women's volleyball team lost to Wheaton College 25-20, 25-20, 25-22 in a College Conference of Illinois-Wisconsin opener at King Arena on Friday evening.
Peyton Frost and
Katie Jensen each followed with 10 kills for Carroll, which dropped to 1-8 overall.
Emily Schliesman had three blocks and 12 assists,
Kloe Longtin had 15 digs and
Isabela Valdez registered 26 assists.
Carroll finished with 42 kills in the competition, highlighted by 16 kills in the third set.
Audrey Gerze had a team-best nine kills and nine digs for Wheaton, which improved to 5-5 overall.
