Katie Jensen registered a team-high 18 kills and three blocks as the Carroll University women's volleyball team lost to Edgewood College 27-25, 25-27, 25-21, 25-12 in a spirited nonconference dual meet at the Todd Wehr Edgedome on Wednesday night.
It was the fifth consecutive non-league dual loss for Carroll, which dropped to 1-5 overall on the early season.
Cathleen Flannery contributed eight kills and 10 digs for the Pioneers, who generated 13 kills and committed only four errors en route to claiming a 27-25 second-set victory.
Ashley Konecki followed with seven kills, four blocks and a service ace.
Peyton Frost had seven kills and a block.
Kloe Longtin collected 18 digs and three assists while
Emily Schliesman had 15 digs and 32 assists for Carroll.Â
The Pioneers finished with 43 kills, 75 digs, 42 assists, five blocks and two service aces.
Mackenzie Doherty had a team-best 16 kills and 13 digs for Edgewood.
