Spencer Kirsteatter, a graduate student from Kewaunee, Wis., finished 15th overall in a time of 25 minutes, 56.1 second as the Carroll University men's cross country team placed fifth at the College Conference of Illinois-Wisconsin Championships (hosted by Elmhurst University) at St. James Farm on Saturday.
Charles Quast followed in 26th (26:36) for Carroll, which totaled 131 points in the fiercely competitive eight-kilometer race.
Austin Sanderfoot placed 29th (26:45.4),
Peter Carty took 34th (26:54.6) and
Nathan Raatz was 38th (27:01.8) to round out the top five individual finishes.
Other indvidual finishes for the Pioneers were: 66.

Ethan Weber (29:32.4); 73.
