CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Carroll University women's volleyball team went 0-2 on the final day of competition at the Coe College Tournament (in Kohawk Arena) on Friday, losing back-to-back duals to high-powered Cornell College 25-15, 25-15, 25-17 and Coe 25-17, 25-21, 25-12.
Cornell and Coe received votes in the latest NCAA Division III rankings with both schools hovering just outside of the Top 25.
Carroll finished with a 1-3 record in the two-day competition and dropped to 4-4 overall.

Jadyn Holman registered a team-high seven kills and a service ace for the Pioneers, who generated 20 kills in the battle but committed 25 errors.
Katie Jensen contributed five kills and
Ashley Konecki had three kills.
Alianiz Rivera-Rosado had eight digs and
Lindsey Diep added seven assists.
Carroll finished with seven kills and eight errors in both the first and second sets.
vs. Coe
Cathleen Flannery finished with a team-best eight kills for Carroll, which finished with 32 kills, two aces, four blocks, 38 digs and 29 assists.
Kaitlin Gawelski followed with seven kills and one block for the Pioneers. who maintained a balanced attack in the showdown by generating double-digit kills in all three sets (including 11 each in the first two sets). Jensen contributed six kills,
Rebekah Andreae had four blocks with Diep collecting 10 digs, 11 assists and an ace.
Maggie McGough had 11 digs with
Cora Riffle adding six digs and 14 assists.
