Katie Jensen finished with a team-high seven kills as the Carroll University women's volleyball team lost to Edgewood College 25-19, 25-19, 26-24 in a nonconference dual meet at Van Male Field House on Friday night.
It was the fourth consecutive loss for Carroll, which dropped to 4-6 overall.
Peyton Frost contributed six kills and
Grace Perret followed with five kills for the Pioneers, who amassed 34 kills, 37 digs, 32 assists, five service aces and two blocks.
Ashley Konecki collected three aces,
Maggie McGough had 11 digs and
Cora Riffle added 17 assists for Carroll.
The Pioneers generated team-best 13 kills and .235 hitting percentage in the final set.
Ashley Bruehlman finished with 11 kills, eight digs and three assists for Edgewood, which improved to 4-6 overall.
