NAPERVILLE, Ill. - The Carroll University women's volleyball team lost to North Central College 25-15, 25-19, 21-25, 25-15 in a College Conference of Illinois-Wisconsin dual meet at Gregory Arena on Friday night.
It was the second four-set conference loss for Carroll, which dropped to 0-3 in the highly contested league standings and 8-9 overall.
Katie Jensen, who earned Athlete of the Week honors for her recent stellar performance in the Luther Invitational, finished with a team-high 12 kills and four blocks to lead the Pioneers.
Peyton Frost followed with eight kills for Carroll, which showcased its determination and resilience by generating 16 kills with only five errors and a .314 hitting percentage in capturing a third-set victory.
Grace Perret contributed six kills, 10 digs and one service ace for the Pioneers, who generated 36 kills, 10 blocks, four aces, 46 digs and 34 assists.
Maggie McGough collected 15 digs and two assists and
Rebekah Andreae registered five blocks.
Cora Riffle added three aces, seven digs and 22 assists.
Aidan Brown had a meet-high 19 kills and four blocks for North Central, which improved to 3-1 in conference and 8-4 overall.
