Metamora, Ill. -- The Carroll University women's golf team finished with a team score of 339 on day two of the 2023 CCIW Women's Golf Championship, putting the Pios at 678. The Pioneers continue to sit in fifth place in the tournament.
Tessa Lawson remains at the top as Carroll's number one golfer she is tied for 28
th place and first on the team after shooting 85. The freshman was able to obtain eight pars throughout the second round.
Marisa Boehler has a bounce back day shooting a 83 to bring her into 30th. Lauren Lostetter in 34 shot 88 in the second round. Boehler was able to find 10 pars and a birdie throughout her second round. Lostetter was able to find six pars herself on the day.
Maddie O'Brien came into the day as the Pios number four and tied for best on the team with a 83, and
Shaelynn Feuerstein scored a 90 to finish tied for 40
th. To wrap up the Pios scoring after round one
Lynea Sekany shot a 90 and sits in 42nd.
