OSHKOSH, Wis. - The Carroll University men's tennis team swept former Midwest Conference intra-state rival Ripon College 9-0 in a nonconference dual meet at the Oshkosh YMCA on Saturday evening.
It was the first road victory of the season and third consecutive nonconference dual sweep for Carroll, which remained undefeated with a 5-0 overall record.
The Pioneers have combined to outscore their five opponents by a statement-making, eye-popping 43-2 margin.
Andrew LaBelle won in straight sets at No. 1 singles, defeating Ripon's C.J. Counts 6-0, 6-1 to lead Carroll, which registered six straight-set victories in the singles flight.
LaBelle, a freshman from Mukwonago, Wis., won his third straight match to improve to 4-1 in duals and 5-2 overall.

The LaBelle brothers won at No. 1 doubles (8-4) to improve to 5-0 in duals and 6-1 overall.Â

Nathan Buntrock adding a victory (8-0).
