Waukesha, Wis. – The Carroll University men's lacrosse team lost 1-26 against won Hendrix College. Anthony Defilippis scored the Pioneers lone goal on the day. Jake Wright led the Pioneers with ten ground balls on the day.

The Pioneers (1-5) got up 21 shots during the game, eight of which were on goal. Jake Gehl and Matthew Hehr faced 62 shots throughout the game, with 4 shots on target. Gehl was able to make 15 saves and Hehr made six saves.

Hendrix started off the game hot scoring six unanswered goals. This would end the first period 0-6. Starting the second period the Pioneers tried to get the rhythm going as Defilippis scored to start the period. However, the next faceoff Hendrix would win and score on the following possession. This would light a fire for Hendrix as they scored nine unanswered points to take a 1-15 lead into the half. The Pioneers wouldn't be able to score a goal in the second half, as Hendrix ran away with a 1-26 victory over the Pioneers.

The Pioneers look to bounce back against Hanover College, as Carroll looks to get back in the win column on Wednesday, Mar. 15 in Hanover, Ind.
