Kansasville, Wis.– The Carroll University women's golf team participated in the Midwest Region Classic this past Friday and Saturday. The Pioneers finished in 27
th while shooting a 760 over two rounds on the weekend.
Marisa Boehler came into the weekend as the number three golfers and led the way for the Pioneers shooting a 185 on the weekend. Freshman,
Tessa Lawson was not far off, as the number two golfer in the group she shot a 188 on the weekend. This was followed up the one number golfer
Ashlyn Burdick shooting a 191 over two rounds.
Carroll's
Lauren Lostetter (4) and
Annika Wertheim (5) would all finish the tournament shooting a 196 and 209. Wrapping up a total of 760 for the Pios.
The Pioneers will be competing in the CCIW Championships on October 5-7 in Metamora, Ill. at Metamora Fields Golf Course.
