PLATTEVILLE, Wis. - The Carroll University women's volleyball team went 0-2 at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville Triangular at Williams Fieldhouse on Saturday, falling to high-powered UW-Platteville 25-8, 25-21, 26-24 and Macalester College 25-23, 25-18, 25-14.
Carroll, which has lost its last four duals, dropped to 8-10 overall with the challenging effort.

Peyton Frost and
Megan Aalsma each finished with a team-high five kills in the first-round battle with UW-Platteville, which entered the contest hovering just outside the top 25 in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association Division III poll.
Ashley Konecki and
Rebekah Andreae each registered three blocks for the Pioneers, who showcased their resilience and determination by generating 13 kills with two errors and .297 hitting percentage in the decisive third set.
Payton Depies added seven digs and nine assists.
Emma Carlson contributed a meet-best 15 kills and six digs for UW-Platteville, which improved to 14-3 overall.

Andreae finished with a team-high six kills and three blocks in the spirited second-round effort versus Macalester.Â
Konecki followed with four kills and three blocks for Carroll, which had nine kills with five errors and .114 hitting percentage in the opening set.
Kylie Wittnebel also collected four kills,
Lindsey Diep contributed five service aces and nine assists, Gawelski had nine digs and Depies added 10 assists.
Adisa Preston had 10 kills and six digs for Macalester, which improved to 7-8 overall.
