MORRIS, Ill. - The Carroll University women's golf team finished second in the three-team Joliet Junior College Spring Invitational (Melee In Morris) at Nettle Creek Country Club on Tuesday.
The team champion was determined by combining the top four individual scores from each school (in relation to par) on the challenging par 71, 6,562-yard course.
Maddie O'Brien placed second overall with an 11-over par 82 (+11) to help lead Carroll, which finished +85 in the meet.
Lauren Lostetter tied for fifth (+20),
Tessa Lawson was 12th (+29) and Leah Ribordy tied for 17th (+29) for the Pioneers.
The Pioneers are scheduled to compete in the Edgewood/Milwaukee School of Engineering Triangular at Broadlands Golf Course (North Prairie, Wis.) at 10 a.m. today.
