NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Carroll's men's tennis team lost to 27th-ranked North Central (IL) Saturday afternoon by a score of 9-0. The Pios dropped all six singles matches, while losing their three doubles matches by a combined score of 24-11.

The Pioneers (9-4) put up a valient effort in singles play, losing three matches in three sets. At number two singles, Daniel Ezcurra lost 7-6 (7-3), 4-6, 0-1 (6-10), while Andrew LaBelle lost at the third flight by a score of 6-4, 4-6, 0-1 (6-10). Ran LaBelle also put up a good fight at the fourth flight, before falling 6-4, 3-6, 0-1 (3-10).

The Pios will be in action again on Friday when they'll host Wheaton (IL) College. That match will begin at 3:30 p.m. at Jean Kilgour Trailblazer Tennis Complex in Waukesha, Wis.
