ST. PETER, Minn. – Carroll's women's tennis team competed in the ITA Regional Tournament and Midwest Open Tournament this past weekend.

In ITA doubles, the seeded duo of Pupovac and Trifilio, unfortunately had an early demise. Losing in the first round to Cornell College twin duo Mac and Tansy Graves. However, there is a silver lining as the star Carroll duo was able to go on a run and defeat Grinnell, Macalester, and Luther to reach the final of doubles consolation bracket. They faced Gustavus Adolphus, the hosting team, and ended up victorious finishing the match 8-5 and being crowned a consolation bracket champion.

The Carroll women look to continue their conference season next Wednesday at Elmhurst.
