The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) announced its 2025 postseason women's tennis awards on Monday, naming Carroll University juniors to the prestigious All-CCIW teams.
Natasa Pupovac was selected for the First Team All-CCIW, while
Katherine Trifilio earned accolades as a Second Team All-CCIW member.
A standout performer from Hales Corners, Wis., Pupovac has been the backbone of the Pioneer lineup. Pupovac's impressive season set the stage for this honor, finishing with a 6–4 singles record and a 5-5 doubles record with Trifilio from the 1 throughout the entire season, holding her own in CCIW play against tough competition.
From Oak Park, Ill., Trifilio has been a reliable anchor up and down the lineup. She played from the 2 spot throughout the year and was an impressive 7-3 in singles, along with her 5-5 doubles record with Pupovac.
Both juniors delivered consistent performances throughout the season, excelling in singles and doubles formats. Pupovac's rise to First-Team status underscores her leadership and resilience, while Trifilio's solid doubles play and conference contributions earned her well-deserved recognition. With the spring looming, the team has a great opportunity to continue to improve and build on their fall success.
