Box Score DECATUR, Ill. - Carroll University women's tennis delivered a commanding performance on Saturday, blanking Millikin University 9-0 in a CCIW matchup on the road. The Pioneers controlled play from start to finish, winning every match in straight sets and securing their first conference victory of the season.

Carroll set the tone in doubles, sweeping all three courts. Top pair Natasa Pupovac and Katherine Trifilio cruised to a 6-1 win, while Mia Franke and Aalaiya Jacklin matched that score at No. 2. At No. 3, Nawal Souki and Makayla Counsell earned the point by default, giving Carroll a quick 3-0 lead heading into singles.

The dominance continued in singles play. Pupovac was nearly flawless at No. 1, defeating Isabella Griffiths 6-1, 6-0. Trifilio added another point at No. 2 after her opponent retired due to injury. Franke and Counsell rolled to identical 6-0, 6-1 wins at positions three and four, while Erin Horzewski capped the sweep with a 6-1, 6-1 victory at No. 5. Jacklin claimed the final point by default at No. 6.

Carroll's depth and consistency were on full display, as the Pioneers dropped only six total games across five completed singles matches. With the win, Carroll improved to 4-3 in CCIW play and builds momentum heading into their match next Sunday at home against Augustana.
