NEW BERLIN, Wis. – Carroll's men's tennis team got back on the right track Saturday afternoon with a 7-0 win against Wartburg College, in a non-conference battle.
In doubles play, the Pioneers swept the Knights, winning by an identical 6-3 score at all three positions.
Carroll (4-3) stayed hot through singles play, winning at all six positions. Mark Trinka dominated by winning 6-0, 6-0 at the number five flight. Ryan LaBelle also won a hard-fought match 6-3, 6-2 at the number four position. Adrian Gomez added a 6-3, 6-2 victory at the top flight, despite a slow start.
Carroll Men's Tennis team will be back in action next weekend when they'll play UW-Stevens Point and Loras College in a triangular in Neenah, Wis.
