HILTON HEAD, S.C. – In their second match of spring break, Carroll's men's tennis team took on Salve Regina Tuesday morning.
The Pioneers started out hot winning all three of their doubles matches in dominating fashion.
Adrian Gomez and Dani Ezcurra teamed up to win 6-0 at the top flight.
Mark Trinka and Jack McCaffrey won 6-2 in the number two slot, while
David Eman and
Ryan LaBelle teamed up to win 6-0 at number three doubles.
In singles play, the Pioneers did not slow down.
Ryan LaBelle won 6-0, 6-0 at number three singles, while Senior,
Mark Trinka was victorious 6-1, 6-0 at the fourth flight.
David Eman won similarly 6-1, 6-0 at the number five position, while
Felix Persson followed that up with a 6-2, 6-0 win at the six spot.
Carroll (8-3) will take on Division-I Stonehill Wednesday afternoon at 12:30 p.m. ET at Bluffton High School in Hilton Head, S.C.
