WAUKESHA, Wis. - Baseball pitcher
Erik Jaschinski and softball outfielder
Abby Curtis have been named Carroll's 'Pios of the Week' for the week ending March 30, 2025.
Jaschinski earned the win on the mound in Carroll's 8-6 victory at Millikin on Saturday. He allowed four earned runs on eight hits, striking out seven through 6.1 innings of work. That helped Carroll improve their early conference record to 2-1 on the season.
In four games last week, Curtis went 3-for-10 (.300) with four walks and four runs scored. She also recorded four stolen bases on five attempts, including three steals in an 8-0 win against Beloit College. That helped her shatter Carroll's career record for stolen bases, which was set 13 years ago. Curtis now has 51 career steals to her name.
