The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving teams, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC), recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. Carroll had five swimmers (four women and one man) to qualify for the honor, with Kelly Gordon, Ashley Heetland, Anna Clare Miller, Josie Peterson, and Matthew Brown earning that distinction.

Gordon is a Sophomore Exercise Science major from Oak Lawn, Ill. She swam a lifetime-best in the 200 butterfly prelims at this year's CCIW Championships (2:18.14), while also earning lifetime-best times in the 400 IM (4:49.53), 200 medley relay split (27.20), and 400 medley relay split (1:01.01), while also swimming a season-best time in the 500 freestyle (5:28.29).

Heetland is a junior Physical Therapy major from North Aurora, Ill. She recorded a lifetime-best time in the prelims of the 200 backstroke at this year's CCIW Championships. She also swam lifetime-best split times in the 200 medley relay (27.37) and 200 freestyle relay (27.71).

A senior from Mt. Pleasant, Mich., Miller is majoring in Sports Administration at Carroll. She finished this year's CCIW Championships with lifetime bests in the 400 IM (5:39.39) and 200 medley relay split (31.22).

Peterson is a senior Nursing major from Jefferson, Wis. and will graduate as one of the most decorated swimmers in program history. She currently owns three school records (50, 100, and 200 freestyle), and is a three-time conference champion in the 50 freestyle, winning that event in each of her final three years as a Pioneer.

Brown is the only Carroll men's swimmer to qualify for the honor. A sophomore Exercise Science major from South Elgin, Ill., Brown swam a lifetime-best 200 backstroke time in the prelims at this year's CCIW Championships (2:15.56), while adding a season-best split time in the 200 freestyle relay (25.57).
