FINAL RESULTS 

JOLIET, Ill. - Carroll Track & Field had three student-athletes compete in the USF Fighting Chance Invite on Saturday, as Hana Smith, Brady Ruesser, and Nathan Raatz all looked to improve their season bests before gearing up for the 2025 NCAA Division III Outdoor National Championships.

In the men's 400 meter dash, Raatz placed third overall with a time of 49.86 seconds. Ruesser took seventh overall in the discus with a distance of 44.69m. 

On the women's side, Smith's time of 1:01.80 in the 400m dash was good for a top-15 finish.

The track and field team will send a few select representatives to Rock Island, Ill. next week for the Augustana Midwest Twilight Qualifier, as they look to improve upon their national qualifying scores one final time before the NCAA Division III National Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
