MEQUON, Wis. – The Carroll University men's lacrosse team dropped a 20–2 decision to Concordia Wisconsin on Wednesday afternoon at Fitting Field.

The Pioneers stayed competitive early, responding to Concordia's opening goal with an equalizer from Brady Mollsen at the 11:00 mark of the first quarter. Carroll kept the game even through much of the opening period before Concordia added a late goal to take a 2–1 lead after one.

Carroll struck again early in the second quarter as Mollsen found the back of the net for his second goal of the game, briefly pulling the Pioneers within four at 6–2. From there, Concordia controlled possession and capitalized on extra-man opportunities, scoring six goals in the second quarter to build separation heading into halftime.

Despite the final score, Carroll continued to generate chances offensively, finishing the game with 26 shots and 12 shots on goal. Mollsen led the Pioneers with two goals on six shots, while Carroll worked through multiple offensive looks across all four quarters.

In goal, Jonas Malmanger recorded 28 saves while facing sustained pressure, helping limit further damage and providing several key stops throughout the contest.

The Pioneers will look to regroup as they continue non-conference play later this weekend as they visit Trine this Saturday with the scheduled start time at noon EST.
