Carroll Women’s Lacrosse Rolls Past Concordia Wisconsin to Remain Unbeaten

MEQUON, Wis. — The Carroll University women's lacrosse team continued its strong start to the season on Wednesday afternoon, earning a 21–4 road victory over Concordia Wisconsin to remain unbeaten on the year.

Carroll controlled the contest from the opening draw, scoring nine goals in the first quarter and never relinquishing momentum. The Pioneers used a fast-paced offensive attack and dominance in possession to build a commanding 15–2 halftime lead.

Sierra Skack led the Carroll offense with a standout performance, finishing with six goals and three assists for a game-high nine points. Elizabeth Wang added a balanced effort with four goals and four assists, while Lauren Fricke contributed three goals and two assists as Carroll spread production throughout the lineup.

The Pioneers scored the game's first five goals and held Concordia without a shot for much of the opening quarter. Carroll finished the game with a 44–11 advantage in shots, controlled 19 draw controls, and converted 13-of-13 clears, consistently keeping the Falcons on the defensive.

Carroll continued to build its lead in the second quarter, adding six more goals, including a pair from Skack and additional tallies from Elaina Phaneuf, McKenzie DeFord, and Paige Helms. The Pioneers also capitalized on extra-man opportunities, scoring four man-up goals on the afternoon.

The offense remained steady in the second half, with Carroll adding three goals in the third quarter and three more in the fourth. Elizabeth Mueller finished with two goals and one assist, while Rebecca Hallman added one goal and two assists, including a free-position goal late in the fourth quarter.

Defensively, Carroll limited Concordia to just four goals and forced numerous turnovers throughout the contest. In goal, Hannah McKenna earned the win, allowing two goals while making three saves over 45 minutes of action. Devon Duym and McKenna DeFord also saw time in the cage as Carroll rotated personnel in the second half.
