NAPERVILLE, Ill. — Carroll senior outfielder Evan Becker was named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Hitter of the Week after a standout performance at the plate last week, which included a series win over North Park for the Pioneers in the early conference slate.

A native of Colgate, Wisconsin, Becker turned in an efficient and impactful week offensively, going 7-for-13 while reaching base consistently and applying pressure in multiple ways. He recorded five runs scored, three RBI, a double, and a home run, while also drawing a walk and being hit by a pitch.

Becker was a perfect 7-for-7 on stolen base attempts, showcasing his speed and aggressiveness on the basepaths, which also saw him steal home on a throw to second base during a win over North  Park. His ability to reach base, advance into scoring position, and capitalize on opportunities played a key role in Carroll's offensive success throughout the week.

Becker's production across all facets of the game earned him conference recognition as the CCIW Hitter of the Week, with the Pioneers looking to use momentum off of their series win to continue their hot start to the conference slate.
