Tim Minik is in his eighth year as an assistant softball coach at Carroll University in 2025, where he is primarily charged with coaching the outfielders.
In addition to coaching with Carroll University, Minik also has coaching experience as the Head Softball Coach at New Berlin West High School. He has also coached locally for 10-plus years with WI 5 Diamonds and New Berlin Magic softball club teams.

Prior to getting involved in coaching softball, Minik was an NCAA Division-I outfielder and pitcher for Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tenn. He then played professionally for the Texas Rangers and Oakland Athletics minor league organizations. Â

Minik graduated from San Francisco State University in 1996 with a bachelor's degree in Physical Education.
