Box Score (De Pere, Wis.) – The Carroll University women's basketball season came to an end tonight in the semifinals of the Midwest Conference Tournament. The Pioneers fell to St. Norbert College, 69-54.

St. Norbert held a 28-18 lead with 2:14 to play in the opening half but Carroll closed out the half on an 8-2 run to pull to within 30-26 at the break.

Carroll tied the score twice early in the second half then claimed its first lead (38-36) at 15:49 on a jumper from Emily DeNoyer. St. Norbert quickly retook the lead but a Brianna Johnson three-pointer at 12:23 would give Carroll another one point lead. It would turn out to be Carroll's final lead of the game. SNC would then go on a 4-0 run and would never trail after that.

DeNoyer and Malory Christenson shared team scoring honors for Carroll with 14 points each while Breann Maryanski added eight points and a game high 18 rebounds. Corrine Engels dished out three assists to set Carroll's single-season assist record with 113.

The Pioneers outrebounded St. Norbert 40-31 but the Green Knights had a decisive advantage in field goal shooting at 53.2% to 30.9%.

Carroll's season comes to an end at 15-9.
