Box Score TUCSON, Ariz.-  Carroll University (0-1) dropped their season opener to #20 Wesleyan University on Sunday night 11-0.  Senior right-hander Tyler Robers pitched well but was let down by his defense as the Pioneers gave up four unearned runs in the first four innings and couldn't rebound from the early hole. Robers finished the game giving up four earned runs in five plus innings.

Offensively, junior Ethan Urban broke up Wesleyan's Nick Cooney's no-hit bid with a single over the shortstop's glove in the sixth inning.  Senior Alex Olson reached base twice on the day registering a hit and drawing a walk.

Carroll will look to rebound on Monday as they will face Presentation College at 12:30pm before facing off with Wesleyan Univesity again at 4pm.
