(Monmouth, Ill.) – The Carroll University track and field program competed in the Monmouth College Invitational. Team scores were not kept at the event, which consisted of members of the Midwest Conference and College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin, among others.
 
The Pioneer women had a handful of strong individual event showings, including a first place finish in the 4 x 200 meter relay. The 4 x 400 meter relay team claimed a second place finish, as did Marissa Wendtland in the 60 meter hurdles. Mikayla Laue was fourth in the pole vault while Brooke Dietsche took fifth place in the one mile run.
 
Grant Marton led the Pioneer men with a runner-up finish in the 800 meter run. Kieran DeGroot finished third in the one mile run while Chris Van Saders was seventh in the 60 meter hurdles. The 4 x 400 meter relay team took second place with the 4 x 200 meter relay team earning third place.
