NEW ORLEANS – All-Academic Athletes for the 2025 NCAA Division III Women's Track & Field seasons were announced on Monday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), with Carroll's
Maria Falk and
Vanessa Uitenbroek each earning a spot on the team. In order to receive the distinction, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.30 on a 4.0 scale through the most recently completed grading period and must have finished the season among the top 50 individuals in an event or participated at the Indoor OR Outdoor National Championships.
Falk is a senior nursing major from Oshkosh, Wis. An All-American in both the indoor and outdoor shot put during the 2024-25 season, Falk finished the indoor season ranking eighth in the country in shot put. She also finished second in all of Division-III in the outdoor shot put (14.89m / 48-10.25), en route to All-Region and Academic All-District honors.
A Physical Therapy major from Kaukauna, Wis., Uitenbroek ranked seventh in the country in the indoor shot put (14.06m / 46-01.5) which saw her earn All-America status at the 2025 NCAA Division-III Indoor Championships. A 14-time National qualifier and eight-time All-American, Uitenbroek also earned All-American status in the outdoor discus this year, with her top throw of 49.34m /161-10 ranking fourth in all of D-III. An All-Region and Academic All-District performer this season, Uitenbroek also ranked 11th in the country in the shot put (14.09m / 46-02.75), and 30th in the hammer throw (51.66m / 169-06).
