The men's and women's swimming and diving teams opened their season at the Wisconsin showcase on October 21. The meet was made up of nine different schools from across the state.
Lindsey Coons led the Pioneers, finishing third in the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 59.48. Coons also placed seventh in the 200 yard backstroke with a time of 2:14.14.
Jordan Andrews also swam well for the Pioneers, picking up two top 10 finishes. Andrews finished seventh in the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 1:02.13 and eighth in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 25.29.
The men's best finisher was James Kelly who took seventh in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 22.04.
The Pioneers will be back in action on October 28 at home against UW-Oshkosh. the meet is set to begin at 1 pm.
