The Pioneers lost a close one to Augustana on Sunday afternoon, falling 5-4. The loss moves Carroll 2-3 in conference play, and 9-7 overall. The Pioneers won a total of two singles matches and two doubles matches.

Peter Jaeger and Chayce Roecker led the Pioneers, securing two victories each. Jaeger won his singles match 6-7 (2), 7-6 (3) (10), and teamed up with Matt Michael to win their doubles match 8-2.

Roecker won his singles match 6-4, 6-4, and joined fellow Pioneer Joseph Harrison to win their doubles match 8-5.

The Pioneers will be back in action on April 29, as they travel to Wheaton. The matches are scheduled to begin at 9 am.
