MILWAUKEE, Wis.-
The Pioneers made quite a statement in their return to the court after not winning a single match against Whitewater. The men secured victories in all nine of their matches, the first time they have accomplished the feat this season.
Peter Jaeger and
Matt Michael led the Pioneers, as they both won their singles matches, while also teaming up in doubles action and winning that match as well. The most impressive part of their three combined victories, was the fact that the duo combined to win every set played, going 32-0, and making quick work of their opponents.
Chayce Roecker won his singles match, 6-0, 6-1, while fellow Pioneers
Quentin Lamers and
Mitchel Gjerseth won their singles matches 6-0, 6-2. Lamers joined
Ian Foster in doubles action to beat MSOE 8-4, while Gjerseth teamed up with
Adam Piontek to win their doubles match 8-4 as well.
The Pioneers will take the court again on March 3, as they travel to take on St. Norbert College.
