WAUKESHA, Wis. — The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced its annual Academic All-District® Team for men's and women's tennis, with Carroll University earning five honorees for their combined excellence on the court and in the classroom.

Representing the Pioneer men's tennis program are Ryan LaBelle and Andrew LaBelle, both seniors from Mukwonago, Wisconsin. The LaBelle brothers have been key contributors throughout their Carroll careers, consistently competing at a high level while maintaining strong academic performance. Their selections reflect their commitment to excellence both athletically and academically.

Carroll's women's tennis program was also well represented with three Academic All-District selections. Natasa Pupovac, a junior from Hales Corners, Wisconsin, earned the honor after continuing to develop as a key contributor for the Pioneers while excelling in the classroom.

Kate Trifilio, a junior from Oak Park, Illinois, was also recognized, highlighting her dedication to academic success alongside her performance on the court throughout the season.

Senior Makayla Counsell, from Waukesha, Wisconsin, added another achievement to her accomplished Carroll career with her selection. Counsell's recognition underscores her leadership and consistency both in competition and in the classroom during her time with the program.

The CSC Academic All-District® Tennis Teams recognize student-athletes who excel both athletically and academically. Honorees advance to the ballot for CSC Academic All-America® consideration, with national selections announced later this spring.

These selections reflect Carroll tennis' continued emphasis on developing well-rounded student-athletes who represent the university with distinction both on and off the court.
