NEW BERLIN, Wis.-
The Pioneers came to play on Saturday, March 3, as they took all nine matches against Lawrence University. With the win, Carroll improves ot 4-2 on the young season, and a perfect 2-0 at home.
Peter Jaeger and
Matt Michael continued to lead the way, as they dominated their doubles match, winning 8-2. Jaeger and Michael also combined to only lose one game, with Michael winning his individual match 6-0, 6-0 and Jaeger winning his 6-1, 6-0.
Chayce Roecker and
Joesph Harrison also had solid outings for the Pioneers, with Roecker winning 6-3, 6-1 while Harrison won his individual match 7-5, 6-3. The duo joined forces to win their doubles match 8-5.
Up next for the Pioneers is their annual spring break trip. Both the men and women will head to Hilton Head, S.C. for a chance to get some time on the court while enjoying the weather that comes with traveling south.
