Gameday Preview: Softball Takes on Wheaton College in Home Series

LOCATION: Kilgour Field, Waukesha, Wis.
OPPONENT: Wheaton College
CURRENT RECORD: 15-17, 6-5 CCIW

LAST MEETING:Carroll swept the Thunder 11-0 and 8-4 on April 10, 2018. Osterhus threw a no-hitter in game one with 13 strikeouts. Annika Graves went 3-4, Lexy Kemnitzer went 2-4 with two RBIs, Rosalie Jrolf went 2-4 with two RBIs, and Kelsey Edwards went 1-2 with two RBIs to lead the Pioneers in game two over the Wheaton Thunder. 

PIONEERS TO WATCH

OFFENSE: Annika Graves remains hot at the plate hitting .420 overall and .483 in conference with 42 total hits. Rosalie Jrolf also remains stellar at the plate with a conference batting average of .409 and a slugging percentage of .545.  Jrolf has seven doubles 16 RBIs on the season. Shortstop, Madison Wagner is another offensive player to watch for the Pioneers. Wagner posts a .308 batting average with 2 doubles and 8 RBIs in conference play.  

PITCHING: Amanda Osterhus & Lexy Kemnitzer combine for a .72 ERA in CCIW play, in addition to an undefeated record.
