Waukesha, Wis. –
Joseph Harrison of men's tennis and
Amanda Ferr of women's lacrosse have been named the first Senior Athletes of the Week. During this tough time, we want to shed some light on our spectacular seniors who had their 2020 spring season cut short. The remaining weeks, we will highlight two spring sport seniors who were unable to have senior days.
Harrison finished up his season in South Carolina, where the men's team won all three of their matches. During those three spring break matches Harrison went 3-0 in singles and 3-0 in doubles. Harrison was given CCIW Men's Tennis Player of the Week. Harrison's season finished with a 6-2 singles overall record, including 6-1 in duals. Harrison has been with the men's tennis team the past four years.
Ferr, a senior defender, capped off her senior season with four games, including her final home game against St. Mary's College on Sunday, March 1. Ferr played a majority of her time at the defender position this season but scored her first goal of the year in the win over Beloit. Through four years, Ferr has amassed 19 goals, eight assists, and has caused 49 turnovers.
