ALGONQUIN, Ill. – The Carroll University women's golf team played in another early week tournament this past Monday and Tuesday at the Judson Fall Invite. The Pioneers finished with a season high two-round score of 772, good for 7
th of 12 teams playing.
Caroline Kroeninger led the team shooting two of the team's lowest three rounds at 93 and 91 on the weekend, finishing with a 184. Kroeninger tied for 23
rd in the event.
Ashlyn Burdick was not too far behind after being the number two starter of the weekend. Burdick turned in rounds of 92 on Monday and a 97 on Tuesday for a combined 189 and 27
th overall.
Emma Meiss finished with a 96 on Monday, but completed Tuesday with a 99. Meiss finished the tournament in 30
th place with a combined score of 195.
Shaelynn Feuerstein and
Lauren Alioto rounded out the group, with Feuerstein turning in a 204 (103, 101) and Alioto scoring a 231 (124, 107).
The Pioneers have another tournament later this week hosted by Illinois Wesleyan, at the site of the 2021 CCIW Women's Golf Championships in Normal, Illinois.
