WEST CHICAGO, Ill. — The Carroll University women's golf team turned in a strong team performance on Sunday, finishing tied for third out of 14 teams at the Benedictine Invitational at St. Andrews Golf & Country Club. The Pioneers posted a team score of +50.
Carroll showed consistency across the lineup, with all five scoring golfers contributing to the team result. Scarlett Lindgren led the way for the Pioneers, carding an 80 (+8) to pace the team and finish among the top individual performers in the field with a 6th place finish.
Lynea Sekany followed with an 85 (+13), while Lauren Lostetter added an 86 (+14) as Carroll remained in contention throughout the round. Tessa Lawson posted an 87 (+15), and Emily Brokl rounded out the team scoring with a 90 (+18).
Competing as an individual, Gabby Hauser recorded an 88 (+16), adding another solid performance to the day for the Pioneers.
Hosted by Benedictine University, the event featured strong regional competition, and Carroll's third-place finish highlighted the team's depth and steady play as the spring season continues.
