PEWAUKEE, Wis. – The Carroll University women's golf team struck a team score of 381 on day one of the 2022 CCIW Women's Golf Championship. The Pioneers sit in eighth place in the tournament, which takes place on their home course.
 
Shaelynn Feuerstein, Carroll's no. 3 this weekend, is in 32^nd place and first on the team with a round of 90 after day one. Feuerstein had two nine-hole rounds of 45, and tossed in a birdie on the back nine to hit her season-low round.
 
Ashlyn Burdick and Caroline Kroeninger tied for 35^th and second on the team with rounds of 94. Burdick struggled on the back nine after a fairly clean front. Kroeninger birdied a par three early in the round, but struggled on the long par five holes of the day.
 
Ashley Lubkeman finished fourth on the team with a 103, and Isabella Massa scored a 119 to wrap up the Pios scoring after round one. Gabrielle Kleist withdrew from day one and did not provide a score.
 
Carroll will be in the early wave of golfers in the morning, with Lubkeman teeing off at 10 AM. Live results will be updated throughout the round courtesy of golfstat.
